BVRS
The Bangladesh Vitreo Retinal Society (BVRS) is the Vitreo Retinal Subspecialty Working Group of her parent body the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB) which was established in 19xx. Since then its membership has grown to more than 23 nationwide and in the diaspora. The Society has gone to great lengths in promoting, protecting and maintaining robust standards in the training, research and clinical service delivery regarding diseases of the vitreous and retina as well as policy formulation in Bangladesh.
BVRS is the largest organization of retina specialists in the Bangladesh, representing over 1,000 physicians in BD. The Society serves as a national advocate and primary source of clinical and scientific information and education for its members.
Mission
To provide world class services and best practices in medical and surgical care of patients with vitreo-retina diseases in Bangladesh through training of retina specialists and conducting quality research.

To improve quality of lives of people with vitreo-retina diseases in Bangladesh.
